Choosing the Right Conveyor for your industry
TRANSITIC offers a wide range of conveyors to fit out your warehouse, improve your productivity and optimise your storage space.
Depending on your requirements, we offer motorised conveyors, roller conveyors, overhead conveyors to suit the specific needs of your industry and your products.
Today’s equipment and technology can be used to fit out any type of logistics warehouse: are you short of space or do you have storage space on several levels? Would you like a hybrid network of automated conveyors and traditional storage? Our teams will guide you towards customised logistics solutions that are also scalable, so they can easily support your growth.
Conveyors made for all types of warehouses, industries and products
Conveyors can be divided into 2 categories: flat conveyors (or floor conveyors) and overhead conveyors (or suspended conveyors).
The different types of floor conveyors
roller conveyor
It’s a must-have for warehouses, and popular with all types of industry. Its steel structure enables rapid handling of cartons of varying weights and volumes. The roller conveyor is the essential machine for optimising logistics flows at a reasonable cost.
belt conveyor
This motorised conveyor has belts for transporting lighter or more fragile items that require delicate handling. The belts can also be used as retarders for non-linear areas or when barcode scanners pass over them.
telescopic conveyor
The telescopic conveyor can be fitted out in a modular way to accommodate an increase in goods handling, for example, or to make it easier to unload a lorry. It creates a link between two machines and maintains a high production rate.
The different types of overhead conveyor
overhead sorter
This is an automatic sorting machine that separates and ventilates individual products. Overhead sorters are widely used in the textile sector. It enables rapid processing of deliveries and returns, while respecting the product.
gravity conveyor
This is an overhead conveyor with a slope to allow goods to slide along using their own gravity. Economical and efficient, the gravity conveyor limits the amount of floor space required and the handling of goods by operators.
rope conveyor
It is designed for handling very light loads such as empty cartons. It is a modular system for replenishing workstations. The rope conveyor (or gondola conveyor) reduces operator movements and improves productivity.
lift conveyor
Also known as vertical conveyor, it can be used to create multi-level warehouses. This robust lift ensures high speeds to keep goods and pallets flowing smoothly from one floor to the next.
monorail conveyor
The monorail overhead conveyor is a motorised, modular system that can be adapted to any type of industry. For the textile industry, the ratchet conveyor can be used to transport and sort garments on hangers. For the automotive industry, the trolley system can support heavy loads. Equipped with chains or brushes, the monorail conveyor is extremely resistant and optimises logistics flows to the maximum.
