JENNYFER CHOOSES TRANSITIC TO IMPROVE THEIR SUPPLY CHAIN

Transitic supports Jennyfer in reaching their growth goals by expanding their distribution center

THE CUSTOMER

Created in 1985, Jennyfer is a fashion brand specialized in women's clothing. With affordable prices and street style products, Jennyfer targets teenage girls and young women. The brand offers various styles and a wide range of clothes such as tops, pants, skirts, dresses, jeans, coats or sweaters… Jennyfer also provides accessories : bags, jewelry and shoes.

In addition to 400 stores, mainly located in malls, Jennyfer wants to improve their digital presence and be recognized as the fashion signature for teenage girls.

Over the past few years, the brand has operated a strategic change and is now growing and expanding internationally.

THE PROJECT

To ensure a growing supply related to their digital activity, Jennyfer expands their distribution center, located near Charles de Gaulles airport. The main goal is to gain in productivity and efficiency by increasing the sorting capacity of products.

THE SOLUTION

Transitic has designed and implemented an innovative sorting system, composed of two performant sorters specifically designed for textile products.

The flipper plate located beneath the split tray sorters exits the products to the right or left discharge stations. Installed in an oval shape when enough space is available, the sorters allow a maximum number of discharge stations.

This tailor-made system is able to sort 28 000 items per hour. It can be monitored in real time by using the Open WCS software.
